How does it work? The active ingredient (DHA) when applied to the skin in an FDA approved solution, reacts with the amino acids in the very top layers of the skin to produce a tan color.

What comes with an Airbrush Tan?

Each Airbrush Tan application includes: pre-tan treatment with exfoliating/moisturizing spray, hair covering, barrier cream (for hands, feet and nails), list of tips for before and after Airbrush Tanning, a free 3-min drying session in our Super Standup, a 2 oz. sample of tan extender lotion with DHA, and a 2 oz. sample of body wash, professional application and a personal consultation with an airbrush specialist.

How long does is take? Each application takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, 10 to apply and 5 to dry completely (3 min. if the drying session in the super standup is used).

When will the color appear? It will look darker immediately but will fully develop in approx. 8 hours. (A 4-hour formula is available at extra cost).

Will it fade? With daily moisturization, your tan will gently and gradually fade until your next exfoliation (a week or so). Dryer skin exfoliates faster so hydrating the skin daily with lotion is essential to keep your tan looking great! Ask about our sunless products to compliment and enhance your tan.

Can I make it darker? Yes, we have extra drops to add to the solution for a darker tan.

How should I prepare? Exfoliate at home ahead of time, do not apply lotion that day, shave at least four hours before your appointment, and wear loose clothing to your appointment.
